Q: Can I do a casual visit?
A: YES! They will be $20 per visit, payable at reception.
Q: Can I bring a friend downstairs to train in off-peak?
A: YES! – But only on Saturdays for free if you are a Kinesis class or Kinesis off-peak membership holder. Any other time it will be $20 – paid at reception.
Q: Are there any lock-in contracts?
A: NO! there will be a 4 week grace period, i.e. rolling month to month, so if you choose to cancel, the direct debit cycle with cease within 4 weeks of notification.
Q: How do I book in for a class?
A: Kinesis has its own personal app, which will allow you to book in for your weekly classes. Simply type Kinesis into the app store (see images in 'app' tab)
Q: How far in advance can I book a class?
A: Classes can be booked up to 7 days in advance – and up to 10 minutes before the class
Q: Do I need an access pass for Kinesis classes?
A: If you are a current Fortitude Human Performance member, you will not require an access pass. However, if you are new to the Fortitude/Kinesis family you will need an access pass. This will grant you access to the secure underground parking as well as 24hr access to the facility. The access pass is $49.95 and is purchased through Fortitude HP reception during our staffed hours – Mon – Fri 10am – 7pm, Saturday 9am-4pm.
Q: What time should I arrive to my class?
A: We advise you arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your class beginning, so ensure you are not rushed, can be checked into the class and allow our trainer to begin the class on time.
Q: Can I train downstairs at Kinesis if there is a class on at the same time?
A: Out of respect to the class participants, we will disallow any member to train until the class has ceased. Members will still be able to train upstairs at Fortitude HP.
Q: What happens if a member does not upgrade and uses the space downstairs?
A: A penalty rate of $10.00 will be applied to their existing weekly rate for each occurrence.
